Chattooga Lake, SC. An Awesome Adventure indeed >:3
Last night and today, I went stargazing and kayaking, and it was so much fun! I saw way more stars than I usually do, which was super cool. Paddling around on the water by myself was a blast, too.
Chattooga Lake in South Carolina is an amazing spot. The stars were super bright, and it was really peaceful. I could see tons of constellations, which made the whole experience pretty magical ️.
Kayaking was just as awesome. The water was calm, and it felt great to paddle around on my own. The sound of the water and the cool breeze made it even better.
Overall, it was a really fun and pretty experience.

Lola's Favorite Pictures
I took these pictures in Tennessee, at the Chariot Creek Lodge. (Summer 2023) We stayed in the cozy cabins for about a week, and I was amazed by the beautiful and bountiful forest that surrounded us!
This is the Chattahoochee Bamboo Forest, GA. To get here, you have to walk through a long trail in the mountains, but it's totally worth it! Just don't go too late, because that was our mistake, and we had to walk back to the car in the dark! I got a pretty photo out of it though (1st picture). (Winter 2023)
Now, these pictures were taken at the Sloss Furnace National Historic Landmark, AL. This place was super cool and fun the explore. Just don't hit your head on any pipes! (Spring 2024)

Jyo Studies World War II
In social studies, I learned something incredible about my teacher’s father, who served in World War II. My teacher shared that his dad had been a tanker for four intense years.
He wasn’t just any tanker; he was a turret runner, operating the rotating part of the tank. He also trained on a special vehicle that could float on water and move on land.
Then, my teacher showed us a battle-worn Nazi flag and a German helmet his father had brought back. Seeing these items in class close up made the history of World War II feel so much more real.

Eclipse from Atlanta
Mr. Hype | Apr. 08, 2024
When planning Lola's travel from Orlando to Atlanta and back we had no idea we were going to experience an Eclipse. On April 8th, 2024 Lola was heading back to Orlando and while we had hopes to see the Eclipse while flying we in fact caught it from the window of the Hartfield Jackson, International Airport, while waiting to board our delayed flight. And as we were catching it from in doors, Mom and Ameen were catching it from the playground. Pretty cool experience for all of our first time, and it was even made special from Edwin's Highschool and Elys' Elementary School providing glasses so we didn't have to stare into the sun, or squint in hopes to catch it (lol). The 3 bottom photos were based on me placing the glasses over my Samsung camera, while the last 2 were adjusting the settings on my pro-camera with help c/o our oldest Mr. Techy Edwin.
